They gladly write their letters over and over again in hopes of winning the Tic-Tac-Toe game.
Instead of playing with X's and O's, parents can select any letter kids need to work on. Another variation is to play with shapes. Stars, triangles or even numbers.
Learning through play is the best way.

Why have I never thought to use other letters? Going to try to get my 4 y.o. to practice a few that way tomorrow!

DeleteThis is such a clever idea. I still remember my daughter getting so frustrated learning how to write out certain letters. And the backward s! I used to love those :)
