Here is my latest knitting project and it's a simple enough project kids can do it too. When it's complete it will be a baby hat. Since time just seems to be in short supply around here I have decided to knit more hats and less sweaters.
I think these are the cutest baby hats ever. They are knit in the round and can be created from any basic hat pattern.
The Knitter's Handy Book Of Patterns![](http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=highhihomesc-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B0017ZOCUQ)
is a good reference for basic hats. The base is knit one, purl one with a plain yarn for an inch or two and the rest is created from
Fun Fur Yarn. My hats were created by casting on 100 stitches, using DK yarn and #3 round needles for the base and #5 round needles for the main portion of the hat.
