ReplyDeleteWe LOVE Homer Price at our house! My son also really enjoys The Hardy Boys and Sugar Creek Gang books, all oldies but goodies. Lately he has been showing interest in nature/adventure books like "My Side of the Mountain" and is currently working his way through "Rascal." My own tastes as a child ran more toward boy books, so I have shelves full of book for him to try. Thanks for your recommendations.
ReplyDeleteDana - We ordered Children of Noisy Village by Astrid Lindgren as you suggested in another comment. We like it a lot, but the strangest thing is we have the movie in German. It's called Weihnachten, which means Christmas.
