English Christmas Pudding

In March of 2012 we made English Christmas Pudding. Since it's made nine months before it's eaten we didn't know what to expect at Christmastime when we tried it. Well I think we will make it again this year. It was very sweet and a fun treat.

The pudding is a mix of dried fruits, butter, bread crumbs and brandy.

To serve it it should be reheated by steaming it for two hours. Then warm brandy is poured over the mound.........

...... and lit on fire.

  2. Oh I bet they loved seeing it on fire. Any dessert that flames must be a good one, as far as my kids are concerned. Thanks for sharing on HammockTracks and I look forward to seeing what you have been up to this week.
