Speed! makes skip-counting loads of fun, and mastery of skip-counting makes multiplication easy. Compete against the computer to be the first to get rid of your cards, but watch-out...... if the number in the middle is the same you must be fast to tap the Speed! button, otherwise you will get all the played cards added to your stack.
Skip-count by 2's, 3's, 4's, 5's, 6's, 7's, 8's and 9's.
Begin as a Trainee and advance to Legend. With five levels to pick from
and eight numbers to skip-count this game will keep you entertained for
hours.
The Lite version is free and contains the Two Speed deck of cards at
all levels while the Full version costs only 99 cents and contains card decks Two Speed through
Nine Speed.
The physical version Speed! is available at Amazon.
My daughter shrieked with delight and started jumping up and down when I told her that Speed was an iPad app now. :-) I'm heading to download it right now!
ReplyDeleteI downloaded it last night and had fun playing it, I can only managed the hotshot level, man Ace is fast:) Kids are going to play it Monday. Congrats to you both for making it happen!!!
ReplyDeleteI can do well on Trainee, Rookie and Hotshot. Ace and Legend are too fast for me. I told my husband he should slow them down a bit and he said I should practice more. Him, his mother and my daughter can beat those levels. - I'm glad you liked it! What did the kids think? I think it's fun for adults too.
DeleteAwesome Julie!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I have been looking for some new classroom apps. Will head over to the app store now and check it out! Hope your sister is well!

I'm heading over to the App Store to check this out. I love educational apps for my kids :0)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I'm very happy for you =) I don't have an ipad or anything like that, or else I'm sure I'd get it! Thanks for sharing your resource with us at Trivium Tuesdays!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a iPad so I can't play it on there, but we love the card game. You should put a link in the post directly to the app at the store because I know others would be interested in trying it out!
ReplyDeleteI did it. Thanks for point out the obvious. I should have added the link a long time ago.......
DeleteAre you going to get the app for Android? I would love to have it for my girls
ReplyDeleteIt's on the to do list.
ReplyDeleteThis app looks like a lot of fun. My 4th graders always need lots of multiplication practice and I'm sure they would love this. Thanks for linking up with us.:)

My daughter loves this game so much that I've decided to make a review in my math blog (it's in Spanish).
ReplyDeleteDo you mind me to use some of your pictures in the review?
On the other hand, I'm happy to know that you are planning an Android version. Apple is too expensive in Europe, so most people uses Android devices.
