Storage for Knitting and Crochet Needles
With two knitter/crafters and one following suit I have been collecting knitting and crochet needles. I buy the ones I need, and pick up used ones at thrift sales whenever I see them. My collection was getting out of control, and so I sewed a case with lots of pockets for my needles.

For storing I fold down the fabric lid and roll it up into a cylinder. How do you store your knitting needles?

I did the same thing for pencils. That flap over the top is very important. I didn't do that on my first one....... Oops, lost so many pencils that way.

I've made pencil versions too. It would be good to pair my needles up. Currently they all sit in an old whisky tin. Bit of a muddle.
ReplyDeletei just store mine all over the house and then spend ages searching when I need them!! Definitely need to sew up one of these!!
