Knit American Girl Doll Clothes

I wish my mom knit these outfits for me instead of for the dolls. They look so cozy. I would love a pink sweater and matching hat. Actually she knits all the time and has made similar clothes for my girls, but these doll clothes are so much quicker to create.

Not only do they make great gifts, but some of them are good projects for beginning knitters. The purple skirt and pink hat patterns are very straight-forward. Since the sizes are small, these outfits are good practice for learning to knit sweaters.
