Entertaining and Educational - Threading Pipe Cleaners

Last week was a super week for link-ups. Here are a few of the excellent ideas.

Threading pipe cleaners is a great pre-school activity for so many reasons. It is a simple activity that can be done with readily available materials. Kids get to practice fine motor skills and can create patterns too. Visit Teaching 2 to 3 Year Olds for more information on threading pipe cleaners.

Are you studying Canada? Anna-Marie at Life's Adventures posted a native Inukshuk Stone Statue activity that's easy to do at home.

Bible Fun for Kids posted directions for creating a Mount Sinai tower that looks fabulous.

Have you ever tried to raise silkworms? Marie's Pastiche has some tips that will help for a great hands-on Ancient China silk study that covers science too.
