Bean Avocado Pizza

Bean Avocado Pizzas were fun to make and the kids enjoyed eating them. We made guacamole, beans and grated cheese in preperation for the pizzas. Although there were lots of steps, we had enough to eat them for several meals.
To make the guacamole we mixed avocados, hot pepper, garlic, lime juice, salt and pepper in the food processor. Notice the googles my son is wearing for eye protection from the onions and garlic.

Then we mixed onion, garlic, hot pepper, salt, pepper, water and cooked pinto beans in the food processor to make the bean spread.

My son grated the cheese.

They absolutely loved building their own pizzas, and it was such a pratical application of a Montessori transfer activity.
