Tie-Dye Summer Clothes

My friend invited us over for an afternoon of tie-dying and I must say that I had forgotten how much fun it is. This was an excellent activity for the children. They were able to tie on the rubber bands, dye the shirts and remove the rubber bands without much help. They loved seeing the completed shirts. I would highly recommend this activity for a great afternoon of summer fun!

  1. I love tie-dye, as do both of my boys. Even better when it's at a friends house though. I shudder to think what a free for all it would be if I were attempt it at home. At other people's houses though the boys do behave. Mostly.:-) Great shirt BTW!

  3. I have this on my list of things to do with my kids in a few summers. They are still to young to make their own. I saw another way to make them using plastic ketchup bottles with the paint in them. You just squirt the different colors of paint onto the shirt that has been elastics tying it up. Looked easy for a smaller job.
