Creating a Blog Button

To add a button to a post in Google blogger......
1. Paste the HTML text into the post. - Make sure your are in Edit HTML and not Compose.

There are several steps involved in creating buttons and different ways to accomplish button creation. Here is one way to do it. 
1. Download the free graphics editing program called Inkscape.
2. Within Inkscape design the button (125x125 pixels).
3. Save the file as a .png file.
4. Get an account with photobucket. It is a free website.
5. Upload the button file to photobucket.
6. Get the html code from Photobucket to reference it elsewhere on the web (your blog).

To add a button to the side of your blog in Google blogger.....
1. Add a design widget in design mode.
2. Pick the HTML widget.
3. Paste the HTML code into the widget window.

To add a sliding text bar under the button so other people can grab the button.
1. Paste the following text under the HTML button code in the widget window.

2.  Replace the website text and photobucket http........ stuff (in red) with yours.
