Three Kings Day

Three Kings Day is a Catholic holiday. Children dress as the three kings and walk through the town ringing doorbells and collecting money for poor children throughout the world. If a donation is received they write 20C+M+B12 above the front door to the house from where the donation was received. CMB stand for the Latin words Christus Mansionem Benedictat which means  "Christ Bless this Home". The writing above the door is supposed to protect it from evil spirits for one year, until the next Three Kings Day.
