Happy New Year

The New Year starts with a bang each year in Germany as fireworks are shot-off in every village. They can be seen from most houses in every direction. This was the view from our window. It lasted for about 30 minutes. New Year's Day is the only day fireworks are legal in Germany.

I saw you were studying Vikings my husband belongs to a re enactment group here and we are going to a viking long house on Jan6 for a 12th night celebration I will be posting about it soon.
