Fall in Germany

The land and climate in Germany are similar to the northern midwest and north eastern United States. The land is hilly. There are maple, beech and oak trees. The one major difference is that the weather and seasons are not quite as extreme. The summers tend to be slightly cooler and the winters slightly warmer than the United States. In addition, spring and fall are a little longer.
