Rudesheim is a wine making town along the Rhine River.

There are cafes and beer pubs like this one decorated with accordians.

The walking street is very narrow and filled with wine shops and stores selling tourist trinkets.

The half timbered houses and cobblestones make pleasent scenery.

There are trails all through the vineyards leading to the Niederwalddenkmal Statue on the top of the hill.

There is a trail along the river nice for bikes and walking.

The gondola goes from the Rudesheim village to Assmannhausen and stops at the Niederwalddenkmal Statue between the villages.
