Cinque Terre, Italy

Cinque Terre is a tourist paradise along the north-west coast of Italy. Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso make up the five (Cinque) villages. Long ago the only way to travel between the villages was by boat. Then walking paths connected the villages and finally trains. Only one village allows motor vehicles. Tourist enjoy walking the trails that connect the villages, spending time at the beaches and lounging in the restaurants.

The walking path between Manarola and Riomaggiore is known as Lover's Lane because after it was built young people from both villages used to travel the path to meet each other.

There are interesting narrow walkways through the villages.

Each village has a harbor and colorful structures.
